Gift holiday cheer, Brandywine-style with these two sensational Costa Rican coffees, bagged and boxed up in exclusive artwork by Todd Purse.
You’ll get:
6 oz of Costa Rica Tirra Natural
The Tirra Estate is located in Costa Rica’s famous Tarrazú region where around 3,400 members of the CoopeTarrazú co-op send their cherries for processing. This natural process lot was grown at 1,400 - 1,500 MASL, and sundried on patios. We tasted grape jelly, watermelon jolly rancher, red florals, a sparkling grape acidity, and a silky body with a syrupy finish.
6 oz of Costa Rica Las Lajas Black Honey
The Las Lajas micromill is known for its unique and exceptional processing techniques. Owners Oscar and Francisca Chacon are constantly experimenting with new techniques to express the inherent delicacy, harmony and complexity of their coffees. Black honey is their longest honey process, with the coffee being left on the patio for a period of 24 hours. We tasted honey, apple, blackberry, almond, a sparkling stone fruit acidity, and a tealike body.

Every coffee we share has been tasted and recommended by our expert Tasting Panel who have years of experience in specialty coffee. We cast a wide net, trying hundreds of coffees, keeping an open mind to new regions, processes, and roasters, and going through many rounds of cupping. If there was an easier way of choosing each coffee, we wouldn’t want to do it.
