Intrinsic cherry is a unique processing method from Panama’s inventive Creativa Coffee District in which the coffee cherries are fermented in the same bags that they come in, preserving the unique essence of each microlot. This particular lot was grown on 75-year-old Edwin Ferrenbach’s farm, located beneath Panama’s tallest volcano, Volcan Baru. We found a boozy aroma with notes of black cherry, lemon, black tea, and a slight rose finish, with a sparkling ruby grapefruit acidity and a tea-like body.
