Named after the oldest hominid skeleton ever found and sourced from the same area, Sidama Ardi is like a juicy fruit punch with a hard candy chaser. Grown in Ethiopia’s acclaimed Guji Zone and naturally processed, it’s one of Equator Coffee’s most cherished annual offerings: their 2021 roast scored 95 points on Coffee Review. We tasted sweet berries, punch, jasmine, sweet citrus, and watermelon hard candy, with a juicy body and a stone fruit acidity.

Every coffee we share has been tasted and recommended by our expert Tasting Panel who have years of experience in specialty coffee. We cast a wide net, trying hundreds of coffees, keeping an open mind to new regions, processes, and roasters, and going through many rounds of cupping. If there was an easier way of choosing each coffee, we wouldn’t want to do it. For exclusive weekly coffee suggestions from our panel, join Fellow Drops!
