This exemplary Peruvian coffee was grown in the Cajamarca region of the Andes mountains by the Chirinos grower’s collective. Founded in 1968, the collective’s 700 members use organic farming practices and share an ethos rooted in community and environmental stewardship.
Equator noted delicate floral notes of chamomile, golden raisin, and kettle corn in this washed lot. We tasted molasses, graham cracker, and tangerine, a grapefruit acidity, a chocolate and citrus fragrance, and a clean tea-like body.

Every coffee we share has been tasted and recommended by our expert Tasting Panel who have years of experience in specialty coffee. We cast a wide net, trying hundreds of coffees, keeping an open mind to new regions, processes, and roasters, and going through many rounds of cupping. If there was an easier way of choosing each coffee, we wouldn’t want to do it.
