Cooperativa El Porvenir in southeast Guatemala organizes their lots around distinct profiles, and this coffee is part of their Ayarza Wine Series, featuring intense winey fruit notes. It was grown by Laguna de Ayarza, a cold blue lake that formed when two volcanos collapsed, giving the surrounding soil the nutrient-rich character that coffee grows best in. We tasted cherry, strawberry, and confectioner’s sugar.
