When Bird Rock Coffee Roasters celebrated the 2nd anniversary of its Little Italy location in San Diego, they carefully crafted a blend for a delicious full-body coffee. The origins of this rich, medium roast are tied to their roots in Direct Trade Partnerships and you can taste the unqiue blend of flavors in every sip. Little Italy offers a smooth and clean body that turns chalky as it cools. We also tasted ash, leather, semi sweet chocolate, sugar cane, apple, and oak.

Every coffee we share has been tasted and recommended by our expert Tasting Panel who have years of experience in specialty coffee. We cast a wide net, trying hundreds of coffees, keeping an open mind to new regions, processes, and roasters, and going through many rounds of cupping. If there was an easier way of choosing each coffee, we wouldn't want to do it.
