The Halo Hartume wet mill was founded by Gedeb-native Haile Figa in 2018, and it’s produced some of our favorite Ethiopian coffees in the years since. This lot is from one of the area's highest elevations, grown by smallholder farmers and fully-washed. We tasted black tea, peach, grapefruit and brown sugar, with a silky body and a sparkling acidity: all the ingredients for a perfect Arnold Palmer with the summery vibes to match.

Every coffee we share has been tasted and recommended by our expert Tasting Panel who have years of experience in specialty coffee. We cast a wide net, trying hundreds of coffees, keeping an open mind to new regions, processes, and roasters, and going through many rounds of cupping. If there was an easier way of choosing each coffee, we wouldn’t want to do it.
