Manhattan Coffee Roasters - Diego Bermudez
We crossed continents to bring you this coffee, and you won’t have tried anything like it before: Diego Bermudez by Manhattan Coffee Roasters!
Founded by champion baristas in the Netherlands in 2017, Manhattan is know worldwide as one of the most coveted coffee roasters. Our Fellow tasters are big fans of Manhattan and we flew this coffee in from the Netherlands so we could offer it to Fellow customers.
Diego Bermudez was one of the first producers in Colombia to experiment with fermentation processes and he continues to push the envelope. For this coffee he developed a “thermal shock anaerobic” process, a method involving multiple stages of anaerobic fermentation before twice washing the pulped cherries in dramatically different water temperatures. Guaranteed you won’t have ever tried anything like it…

About Manhattan Coffee
Manhattan is a small specialty coffee roastery based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. It was founded in 2017 by long time coffee industry professionals Ben Morrow and Esther Maasdam, who both are multiple-award winning baristas. Despite having been around only a few years, Manhattan has wracked up world recognition for their delicate roasting style and commitment to quality.
Roasting & Shipping
Roast Date: March 1st. This is a Nordic-style light roast that tastes best when "rested", or when the coffee has time after roasting to degas and let off CO2. Manhattan advises trying it 4-6 weeks off roast for best results!
This coffee was roasted and shipped from the Netherlands and will be fulfilled via USPS for the last leg of the journey to your doorstop.
