These Carters were designed for Pachamama by Rosa Angelica and Antonio Sarabia, depicting their logo and the topography of Machu Picchu. “Pachamama” means Mother Earth in the indigenous Andean languages Quechua and Aymara, and this is embodied in the artwork through the rugged mountains, misty clouds, and lush greenery. All profits go directly to Pachamama Coffee.
Pachamama Coffee is a first of its kind business model in the coffee industry: fully owned and governed by coffee farmers. With a mission of building a better coffee supply chain, their owners consist of small scale coffee farmers in Peru, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Mexico, and Ethiopia who receive 100% of the profits from the business. They operate several cafes in Sacramento and elsewhere in California.
