Pour Over

Ingredients:

Coffee: 25g
-
Water: 425g a 212°F (or 100°C; This should be at sea level, and -1.8°F or -1°C per each ~1312 feet or 400 meter elevation)
Grind Settings:

Ode + SSP Burrs: 8 - 9

Ode Gen 2 Burrs: 7 - 8 (7.1 is optimal)

Ode Gen 1 Burrs: 6 - 7

Opus: 7.2 - 9 (inner ring at 0)
Steps:

Grind coffee at medium-coarse setting

Rinse filter with 212°F [100°C] water

Bloom: Pour, while avoiding hitting the edge of the filter, to 50g water. Swirl to ensure the coffee is saturated, and wait 45seconds

Continuous pour stages (2); slow, concentric circles:

Pour to 225g, about 1:20, pause, then start next pour before the bed dries out.

Final Pour to 425g

Swirl once again to ensure even flow on the final draw down.

Target brew time: 3:00 - 3:30 minutes
