Water quality plays an important role in both espresso flavor and machine longevity. The WT Bestsave M Limescale Protection Pad is designed to support Espresso Series 1 by helping reduce scale buildup inside the machine.

Suitable for espresso and coffee machines with water tanks between 1–3 liters, the pad contains a high-performance, food-safe ion exchanger with integrated activated carbon and hygiene protection to help reduce limescale, chlorine, and certain heavy metals such as copper and zinc that can affect taste and lead to limescale deposits.

To use, rinse the pad briefly under running water and place it in the bottom of the Series 1 water tank. Allow 8–10 hours before brewing so the pad can condition the water. The filter has an approximate capacity of 100 liters at 10°dH water hardness. For hygienic reasons, replace the pad after 2 months at the latest.
