Is the Stagg EKG Pro or Pro Studio Edition Electric Kettle stovetop safe?

No. Please do not use your electric kettle on your stovetop! The kettle is designed for use with its electric base ONLY. By putting the kettle on your stovetop or induction surface, you risk melting functional parts in the kettle and paint.

How do I register my Stagg EKG Pro or Pro Studio Edition kettle?

In order to register your Fellow electric product please submit this form. After registering, you will receive an email from Fellow containing your registration perks like priority support! Please save this email for future reference. 

If you run into any difficulty when registering or you would like to check the status of your perks please contact us – we’re happy to help. 

Registration is only eligible for products purchased in the United States on or after June 29, 2021.

Can I heat milk or other liquids in my Fellow electric kettle?

The Fellow line of electric kettles was designed to be an incredibly efficient water heater/boiler. The software and hardware are crafted to be sure you have the best experience possible with water only. Even if it is set at a lower temperature, the heating cycle is so rapid it could scald milk and other liquids. Please don't use the EKG with milk or any liquid other than fresh, clean water. Doing so will void your warranty.

What does the EKG Updater app do and why do I need it?

Although it’s not needed to use the product, we will occasionally provide updates to the firmware in your Stagg EKG Pro / Corvo EKG Pro or Pro Studio Edition to ensure everything is running optimally and that your kettle has the latest firmware. Choosing not to use the app will not diminish the usefulness of your kettle, as the updates are not needed for the Pro or Pro Studio Edition to work.

Please note: you aren’t able to control your kettle or its settings via the EKG Updater app at this time. The app is also not compatible with Stagg EKG+ kettles.
