Caryn: Caryn balanced a career as a marine biology professor with motherhood and painting for years and in 2014 left marine biology to focus on art and her family. Her style is modern and bold, and she draws inspiration from fashion, decor, garden design, architecture, and the ocean. In her Santa Cruz, California studio, she uses acrylic paint on canvas to create abstract landscapes, abstract botanicals, and pure abstract expressionist paintings that focus on color over form.
Catilustre: Catalina is a Spanish painter, illustrator, and piano teacher based in Germany. She studied architecture in Barcelona and creates both fine art and children’s art. Endlessly inspired by nature, she paints the reality that surrounds her, creating landscapes, portraits, still lifes, and abstract art.
