It’s just a fact: Sometimes Fellow gear is returned. Maybe a product malfunctioned. Maybe a customer decided a Smoke Green kettle clashed with their backsplash.


When a product comes back to Fellow, we diagnose it. If it's badly damaged or genuinely broken, the story ends there. But if it just needs a part replacement or a small adjustment—something that doesn’t affect the integrity of the machine—we repair it.


Then we test it, pass/fail, with no wiggle. Every function, every sensor, every moving part. If we see green lights across the board, we repackage it with all its original parts, put a Certified Rebrew sticker on the box, and send that kettle, grinder, or coffee maker back into the world to fulfill its destiny.

Why should I buy a refurbished product?

Buying refurbished gear extends the life of our products and the resources that went into manufacturing them, while offering you beautifully functional products with the same Fellow guarantee.

What does “refurbished gear" mean?

Fellow refurbished gear comes from products that were returned after an original purchase. Sometimes the product is new (maybe a different color caught their eye!), other times the product has been lightly used. All products that undergo the refurbishment process are thoroughly inspected, cleaned, and tested to ensure original electrical and mechanical operation, as well as checked for any major cosmetic defects.

Does Rebrew gear look “new”?

Yes, generally. Our team inspects every product’s exterior and interior for damage. We allow minor imperfections such as small scratches, marks, or discolorations, but all of our Rebrew gear is ready to be the centerpiece of your coffee corner. The entire product is then cleaned by hand inside and out, and tested to ensure original electrical and mechanical operation before being carefully packaged and sent to your doorstep. While not “new new,” you’ll still be proud to display Rebrew gear on your countertop or brew bar.

What is the warranty for Rebrew gear?

Rebrew refurbished gear carries the same warranty as the original product for functionality. Stagg EKG and Ode Brew Grinder have a one-year limited warranty. See more details about our warranty here. 

Please note we offer warranty replacement on Rebrew gear only for functional issues; cosmetic issues are not covered under our warranty policy for Rebrew items.

Will refurbished products come in the same packaging as new products?

After inspection, cleaning, and testing, Rebrew gear is packaged into a brand new box, with a sticker that identifies the item as refurbished. 

All Rebrew gear comes with the same safety manual and gear guide as new products.
