La Rosa comes from four farms located in the Naranjo district of Costa Rica, an area that is “blessed for coffee”: enjoying ideal growing conditions and producing a unique coffee with a delicate aroma, mild body and pleasing taste. It’s a staff favorite at Brandywine and a delicious everyday drinker. We tasted roasted peanuts, plum, semi-sweet chocolate, a juicy cherry acidity, and a punchy, round body.

Every coffee we share has been tasted and recommended by our expert Tasting Panel who have years of experience in specialty coffee. We cast a wide net, trying hundreds of coffees, keeping an open mind to new regions, processes, and roasters, and going through many rounds of cupping. If there was an easier way of choosing each coffee, we wouldn't want to do it.
