A Drops-exclusive reserve lot from Passenger showcasing everything we love about washed Guji coffee, with an intricate, evolving flavor profile and long, elegant finish.
Gerba Dogo Sodu comes from the Gerba Dogo washing station in Ethiopia’s renowned Guji region, where cherries are collected and processed from producers living near the kebele of Dogo Sodu. The station is one of several operated by Mira Coffee, a family-run business that has been working in the region since the early 1990s.
This washed reserve lot opens with complex florals, ripe stone fruit, and vanilla. As the cup cools, it becomes increasingly floral, while juicy melon emerges and carries through to a long, elegant finish.
We tasted notes of floral honey, white peach, and melogn.

Grind Guidance
Start in the middle of your espresso range on your grinder, and Series 1 will tell you to go finer or coarser after your shot pulls. It is expected that you might need to adjust based on your specific variables (i.e. location, climate, water mineral content, etc.). Small adjustments go a long way!
Tips
-
Adjust grind size if your shot pulls too fast (grind finer) or too slow (grind coarser)
-
Clean your Series 1 regularly for optimal performance
